Super Saiyan 1
Super Saiyan 1
is the first transformation you will achieve. After you beat Skeletron, you have a 5% chance to become a Super Saiyan when dying to any other boss. After dying to other bosses three times, however, you will have a 100% chance to obtain Super Saiyan 1 when dying to any boss a fourth time. Your damage and speed are increased by 75% while in Super Saiyan; however, it drains your Ki at a rate of -90Ki/s, and your Ki loss per attack is increased by 30%. While in this form, your hair will be yellow and raised, and you will emit light. You must note that transformations only give 50% the boost to all other types of weapons than Ki weapons. By this rule you will only get a 37.5% boost to all other weapon damage.
Once you achieve max mastery in Super Saiyan 1 your ki consumption will be 1/3rd of the original value. This does not apply to ASSJ and USSJ.
(Note that you can only gain Mastery while in base SSJ1)

Ascended Super Saiyan is a slightly more powerful version of Super Saiyan 1. Once you have achieved 0.5 Mastery you will unlock this form. Your damage and speed are increased by 90%, 45% damage boost for non-Ki weapons; however, the rate which you drain Ki is -120Ki/s. While in this form your hair is slightly more spiky than your hair in Super Saiyan 1 and your aura is slightly larger as well. Mastery for SSJ1 will not increase while in ASSJ.

Ultra Super Saiyan is the highest evolution of Super Saiyan 1. Once you have achieved 0.75 Mastery you will unlock this form. Your damage is multiplied by 2.1, 1.05 for non-Ki weapons, but your speed is decreased by 10%. A huge downside for such power is the Ki drain rate, losing 210Ki/s. However, like ASSJ, SSJ1 Mastery will not increase in this form.
Activating ASSJ or USSJ
You can activate both forms by charging and pressing transform while using Super Saiyan 1, this will ascend you to the next state of Super Saiyan.
