Mastery

Mastery is a mechanic for transformations that allows you to reduce the Ki drain and even unlock new forms altogether. For every 5 seconds that you spend in a form your mastery for that form will increase by 0.01, up to a maximum of 1. At a mastery of 1 most forms consume half the usual Ki. Super Saiyan 1 is the only form currently that unlocks higher forms through mastery, unlocking Ascended Super Saiyan (0.5 Mastery) and Ultra Super Saiyan (0.75 Mastery). Super Saiyan 1 Mastery can also only be increased while in the base SSJ1 form, not while in ASSJ or USSJ.

All forms that have mastery display a message upon mastering the form, with Super Saiyan 1 also having messages for its other mastery unlocks.
